Assistance available at CCCM
We have a wide range of services available to assist the community.
Emergency food relief is the core service we provide at CCCM. We offer emergency food for free to those in need, with strict eligibility criteria in place to ensure that we can help as many people as possible. You can access the foodbank twice per year, however upon visiting our budget education program you may be able to access further assistance. For more information, contact us here.
^ Our services are only available to City of Melton residents, and 2 forms of ID are required upon presentation at the centre – one form of ID must be your Healthcare or Centrelink Pension card.
If you are located outside of the City of Melton area, please get in touch with your local council to find out food relief options in your local area.
Our Home Finance program is designed to help our clients understand how to easily follow a budget and save, wherever possible, for a rainy day. Appointments for Telstra or Salvation Army vouchers are also available.
This program promotes financial responsibility and has given clients food for thought when it comes to keeping on their top of their finances. Centrepay is encouraged and we support clients through this process until their bills are under control.
For more information, please contact the team via email to HomeFinance@cccmelton.org.au.
It is empowering to know that the next bill you’ll get will be one already paid!
In conjunction with Uniting, we now offer a Tenancy Advice and Advocacy program. This program is available by calling Uniting on 03 9311 5900 for an appointment.
Our op shop is located on the same property as the foodbank – just in the front house. The shop is well managed by a group of happy volunteers who work hard to provide great service and help out our local community to find what they need.
You can check out our Facebook page – ‘CCCM Shop.’
If you would like to drop in and pick up a bargain or two (or just have a chat!), then please pop in and visit during our opening hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 1:30pm.
If you have any enquiries regarding the CCCM Op Shop, please contact CCCM here.
